I think I am officially annoyed with people blasting music from their mobiles on the bus/train. Especially Japanese rock-band tunes which sound like they come from the Daytona soundtrack. (Which they probably do.) Yes, I know your superior mp3-playing, Wi-Fi-enabled, 1000 mega-pix phone is openly sneering at my poor ol’ Nokia 6610i – but come on, I’m sure it came with earphones too.

Hello, 2008 – I suppose I never really got down to acknowledging you, so, hi!
Now excuse me for a moment while I pay my respects to what we now know as “last year”. With December being freshest in my mind, it’s hard to look back on the rest of year and remember everything that’s happened – in a very paltry nutshell: meeting someone(s) new, being amazed by God, and feeling for the people in Liannan. (I told you December was prevalent.)
Okay, sorry, I am not doing justice to so many people and so many things, but forgive me, its 2am and I have a short memory.
That being said, I hope I never forget just how many things I learnt to trust God with this year – from school projects to leading BAY camp groups, from The Walk to sharing the gospel in Chinese (miracle of miracles!), from staying alone in hall to my grades – and more importantly, how He was always faithful. So… Thanks, God!
Bah, I’m terrible at summaries, aren’t I?
Well, guess it’s back to you, 2008.
